This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific, Bldg 339 Clark Road, Ft Shafter, HI 96858, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm Fixed Priced Contract for maintenance of the Varian Linear Accelerator for Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii.This is a request for quotation (RFQ). Added: Dec 16, 2016 8:45 pm This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS code is 811219 and the size standard is $20.5M. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract to the successful offeror. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) has a requirement to provide trained, experienced, personnel to include labor, travel, tools, hardware, firmwear, materials, supplies, parts and test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment necessary to perform all operations in connection with schedule preventative maintenance and/or calibration procedures as well as unscheduled repair visits needed in order to maintain the existing equipment and/or its components, in a fully functional state, in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications. The service contract covers the Varian Linear Accelerator System (Linear Accelerator, Aria, Eclipse) located at Tripler Army Medical Center. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is tee years, one (1) base year plus two (2) one year options. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing no later than 21 December 2016 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Vendors are invited to submit information demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options.
