Added: Aug 12, 2015 11:23 am VA786-15-Q-0389 Mountain Home National Cemetery Work shall consist of general arboreal maintenance of trees to include Crown pruning located toughout the Mountain Home National Cemetery, located at 53 Memorial Avenue, Mountain Home, TN. The primary emphasis during completion of the work shall be to preserve and improve the health of the older growth trees without compromising the safety of the public or cemetery personnel. All work must be done without disturbing or damaging existing gravesites and must be completed according to the specifications and ANSI A300 (Part 1) -2001 (American National Standard Institute) requirements for tree maintenance pruning. Although this specification provides detailed requirements for all work to be performed, all interested contractors should perform a site visit at the cemetery to ensure they understand the full scope of the work and site conditions. The site visit will afford the contractor sufficient time to make certain that he can determine the exact extent of work required for each tree. Trees were also evaluated for required maintenance and the data was recorded to form the basis for this contract. This acquisition is 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 561730. Offers are solicited only from SDVOSB concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. Contract period of performance is forty-five (45) calendar days after notice to proceed is issued. Size standard of $7.5 million is applicable. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors (FAR 15.101-2).
