SEWER MAINTENANCE TRUCK MCB Camp Butler, Okinawa Japan Multi Vacuum Truck Kato Multi Vacuum truck 5 ton Model MV-600S or Equal Vacuum Truck 5 ton, Diesel Engine Drive. All vehicles shall be the newest model and year at the time of delivery and ready for use. Vehicle/Equipment and furnished accessories shall comply with Japanese Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, including, but not limited to, exhaust emission control requirement, in effect on the date of manufacture. MINIMUM # OF VEHICLE REQUIRED & CHARACTERISTICS (1) Quantity: One (1) each. (2) MINIMUM DIMENSIONS (1) Overall length: 6710mm (2) Overall width: 2350mm (3) Overall Height: 2980mm (4) Tank volume: 6.3 Cubic meter (5) Vehicle loading capacity: 5.3 Ton (3) Exterior Color: Manufacturer's standard color yellow. (4) Rust Proofing and Under Coating: Extra anticorrosive from sea water damage. (1 each x 2 sides). (10) Fire Extinguisher and Storage Bracket: Shall be installed in the operator's cab. (11) Drive Type: Manufacture's standard (9) Accessories: Shall be the type installed on manufacture's standard domestic production model. (10) Warranty: Manufacturer's standard. The warranty work will be provided by dealers in Okinawa area, Japan with Government personnel providing Quality Assurance of all work. All warranty work to include the Manufacturer's warranty term inspections shall be conducted at no cost to the government to include parts, labor and transportation. Any warranty work performed to include warranty term inspections and breakdowns repairs shall be documented in detail to include the repair procedure and the parts installed at no extra cost to the government. (11) Certificate of Transfer (in Japanese): For each vehicle to be furnished for consignee by Contractor at time of vehicle(s) delivery. (12) Technical Publications (in Japanese): one (1) sets of operator's manuals (In Japanese), one (1) sets of Technical (shop repair) manuals and parts catalog (In Japanese) for the Sweeper, to be furnished upon delivery of the Sweeper by Contractor (Japanese operator's manuals, technical manuals and parts catalog must be delivered to government at least 60 days before delivery of the crane). (13) SAFETY. Each piece of equipment installed on the Sweeper shall comply with Japanese Industrial Standard safety requirements. G. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an OCONUS requirement: FAR 19.000(b) applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20200605. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. Basis for Award. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s), with satisfactory past performance, who provides the lowest price quote conforming to the solicitation and the specifications identified. Solicitations for supplies valued less than $1 million will use the past performance evaluation procedures outlined in DFARS 213.106-2 and described in clause 252.213-7000, incorporated herein. Price evaluation will typically be conducted tough price competition, as authorized in FAR 15.4. The offeror’s quoted shipping costs, if any, will be included in the price evaluation. *ONLY OPEN MARKET PRICING WILL BE CONSIDERED* Addendum to 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors. 1. Multiple Awards: The Government may accept any item or group of items of an offer, unless the offeror qualifies the offer by specific limitations. Include, at a minimum: Descriptive Literature --- The Offeror shall submit “Descriptive Literature, as a part of offer which is required to establish, for the purpose of evaluation and award, details of the product offered that are specified elsewhere in the solicitation and pertain to significant elements such as Design, Materials, Components, Performance characteristics; and, Method of manufacture, assembly, construction, or operation. The Descriptive Literature should also include information describing the Offeror’s relevant warranty services. 3. Offerors shall completely fill out the attached coversheet and return it along with your quote. Quotes submitted without the required coversheet will not be evaluated nor considered for award. 4.
