Mobile Targets (Remotely-Controlled Vehicles)
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command seeks proposals to provide 24 remotely-controlled vehicles and up to eight control teams to serve as moving targets for the Singapore Armed Forces exercise XFS21 at Mountain Home Air Force Base from September 13-23, 2021. The RCVs must be able to be controlled remotely from up to 16 kilometers away and navigate varied terrain at speeds up to 80 kph while towing 8.6-meter targets. Control teams must be able to operate the RCVs simultaneously from multiple control points. Proposals are due by May 21, 2021.

This pre-solicitation notice seeks capabilities packages from interested parties to provide remotely controlled vehicles and tow targets to support exercise XFS21 at Saylor Creek Range and Orchard Combat Training Center from September 13 through October 28, 2021. The contract, valued at $1,855,512, is to provide 108 mobile targets for use in air combat training exercises. This small business set-aside award will supply the Air Force with remotely piloted vehicles to serve as stand-in adversaries for pilots to train against.
