Added: February 12, 2008 NOTE: All responses to this RFQ shall be mailed to Western Area Power Administration, P.O. Box 3700, Loveland, CO 80539-3003 Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for the services of a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, and other resources necessary to complete this requirement. The work includes, but is not limited to< above and below ground inspection; furnishing and applying ground-line treatment, internal decay treatment, and preventative fumigant treatment; and tagging and preparing inspection reports on the wood poles on approximately 403 miles of transmission line. The work for this project is located in various counties in Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and Montana. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical expertise/personnel qualifications, experience, past performance and price. The solicitation is set aside 100% for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS Code is 321114 and the applicable size standard is 500 employees. The RFQ will be issued electronically on or about February 27, 2008 at this site. The specifications and drawings will be issued in hard copy and may be obtained by faxing your request to the attention of Sharon Gatenby at 970-461-7377. Quotes may be faxed, mailed or e-mailed. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration in order to be considered for award. Contractor's CCR registration must include the NAICS code specified above. Information hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time, Monday tough Friday.
