This Special Notice announces the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Langley Research Center's intent to sole source the procurement of an AVANCE NEO 400 Nanobay NMR Spectrometer from Bruker Biospin Corporation. NASA LaRC requires this NMR Spectrometer to replace an existing 20 year old system and access over 20 years of existing proprietary data files that are only compatible with Bruker's software.
The Special Notice provides interested contractors until July 15, 2020 to submit written capabilities and qualifications for NASA to consider whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis or sole source it to Bruker Biospin as the only manufacturer and distributor of the required equipment.
