The Department of Health and Human Services Indian Health Service (HHS IHS) awarded a firm fixed-price purchase order to Diagnostic Imaging Associates, Inc. North American Division (DIA NA) for teleradiology interpretation services. The order, valued at $124,541.50, is part of DIA NA's existing contracts to provide a range of diagnostic imaging services in support of IHS healthcare programs for Native American communities.
The underlying contract opportunity, which was not set aside, sought teleradiology interpretations for plain film, mammography, CT, ultrasound, DEXA, and MRI scans, as well as transcription services and on-site radiology clinics, for the Oklahoma Area, New Mexico Area, and Pine Ridge, South Dakota IHS locations. The contract has a base year plus four option years. DIA NA, as the prime contractor, has previously received multiple sole-source and competitively awarded contracts from HHS IHS to deliver these types of diagnostic imaging services.
