This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number, 36C26119Q0415 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01 effective December 20, 2018 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation Supplement (VAAR) current to January 7, 2010. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a price quotation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339112, size standard 1000. This solicitation is a SDVOSB set aside. Unverified SDVOBs are considered non-responsive and price quotations will not be evaluated.A SDVOSB must be verified in VIP and SAM at time of submission of quote. Please provide price quotation using the attached RFQ. All price quotes received timely by 05/24/2019 at 3:00PM EST will be considered by the Government. This is as sources sought synopsis only for Alcon brand Centurion Vision Systems for the Sacramento and Martinez VA Medical Centers. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small business, small disadvantage business, Veteran owned small business (VOSB), Service disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to NAICS 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a size standard of 1000 employees. Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more SDVOSB or VOSB, who are certified and verified in VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) site https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, can provide the supplies/perform the service, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C.
