Intent to Sole Source Service Maintenance plan for VEVO 3100
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7 located in Charleston, SC intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to FUJI FILM US, INC of Valhalla, NY. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR Part 13. A Limited Sources Justification has been prepared. The contract will be for a service maintenance plan for the Vevo 3100 in accordance with the Statement of Work. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1)(ii), Soliciting from a Single Source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $20.5 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting officer whether to continue with the sole source procurement or to provide for competition. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Also, prospective contractor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller to the Department of Veterans Affairs for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. All interested vendors are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including commercial market information. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT.
