The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration awarded Spectranetics LLC, a subsidiary of Koninklijke Philips Electronic, a firm-fixed-price purchase order contract for $427,500.00 to provide excimer laser system maintenance services. The contract, which has no set-aside designation, will run through December 31, 2021. Spectranetics, an original equipment manufacturer and provider of excimer laser systems and related services, will deliver maintenance, repair, preventative services, and replacement parts for its CVX-300 and Philips Spectranetics excimer laser systems used in VA hospitals and clinics across the country. This award is in addition to a $131,200.00 indefinite delivery contract Spectranetics holds with the VA's VISN 16 network for ongoing cardiac laser system support, as well as past prime contract awards from the VA, Defense Health Agency, and Air Force for excimer laser equipment and angioplasty catheters.
