Paragraph 1:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to recharge the McQuay chiller located above Building 16 at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VACHS) West Haven campus with 2,007 lbs of R134A refrigerant. The services required include leak testing, evacuation, recharging, and operational testing of the chiller. Interested parties must have a field service representative within 100 miles and factory certified technicians trained on the specific chiller model. The VA is conducting market research to identify potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code 333415 (Air Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment). Responses to this Sources Sought notice are due by 5:00 PM EST on April 19, 2024.
Paragraph 2:
Based on the responses received, the VA may set aside the requirement for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), or Small Businesses, or procure the services through full and open competition. No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement, and respondents will not be notified of the evaluation results.
