This is a $140,000 grant award from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Shared Services Center to Explore Mars, Inc., a non-profit organization, to support the Humans to Mars (H2M) Project. The purpose of the H2M Project is to define and advance the scientific, technical, and policy challenges of sending humans to Mars. This includes conducting research, holding conferences and workshops, and producing reports to educate the public and assist space exploration stakeholders in advancing the goal of landing humans on Mars. There is no set-aside designation for this grant, which has a period of performance from July 2017 to May 2018.
