Description

Since the start of the decadal missions concept study, the activities of the lynx science and technology definition team (stdt), in collaboration with the study offices, have fallen under three categories. These are the development of the science case for the mission, arriving at technical mission requirements that follow from the science case (including assessing technology needs and readiness in various areas), and publicizing the mission concept and science to a broader community. As one of the study CO-chairs, i have been taking a leading role in all of these activities and will continue to do so in the next three years. In this proposal, i describe the activities that the lynx stdt, and in particular, i plan to carry out in this time frame.
