About this award
This is a $150,000.00 grant awarded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to Colorado State University (CSU) for a research project titled "Towards Improved Estimates of Cloud Feedbacks Using High Resolution Climate Simulations and CERES Observations". The contract has a period of performance ending on October 3, 2026. CSU, which is designated as a U.S. State Government, 1862 Land Grant College, and Educational Institution, will be the prime contractor for this project. The grant will support CSU's research efforts to develop advanced climate models and leverage satellite observations to better understand cloud feedbacks, which is a critical component of improving climate change projections. This award is not associated with a set-aside program and is part of NASA's broader research efforts in climate science and Earth observation.
