About this award

This is a delivery order awarded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Langley Research Center to the National Institute of Aerospace Associates (NIA), a non-profit research and graduate education institute. The purpose of this $327,071 cost-plus-fixed-fee task order is to assist NASA in developing a strategic framework to guide the agency's technology roadmaps for on-demand air mobility (ODM) systems, including electric propulsion, simplified vehicle operations, airspace integration, and integrated structures and manufacturing. The contract does not have a set-aside designation. NIA is collaborating with industry and academic partners, including Airmarkets Corporation, to assess market demand, identify enabling technologies, define organizational roles, and recommend regulatory and policy considerations for implementing ODM capabilities. This effort supports NASA's broader work on advanced air transport technologies and electric flight demonstrations.

Description
