NND11AS36T U.S. COMMERCIAL REUSABLE SUBORBITAL VEHICLE MARKET-DEMAND MODELING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL SPACE POLICY, NASA SEEKS TO ENCOURAGE AND FACILITATE THE GROWTH OF THE U.S. COMMERCIAL SPACE INDUSTRY. IN LINE WITH THIS POLICY THE NASA SPACE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM UNDER ITS CROSSCUTTING CAPABILITY DEMONSTRATIONS DIVISION, OPERATES THE FLIGHT OPPORTUNITIES PROGRAM (FOP). FOP FUNDS THE ACQUISITION OF COMMERCIAL SUBORBITAL LAUNCH SERVICES FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FLIGHT OPPORTUNITIES TO NASA, ACADEMIA AND COMMERCIAL ENTITIES FOR SPACE-RELATED TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT AND SCIENCE.
