IDIQ Contract
Added: Feb 28, 2013 9:10 am Solicitation No. F13PS00255 Region 3, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bloomington, Minnesota, intends to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Northwest Marine Technology, Inc, Shaw Island, WA, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(2)(b)(1) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement (41 U.S.C. 253 (c) 1.). The IDIQ contract will be a base year plus four (4) option years for various supplies/equipment. Items will be used for the mobile Automated and Manual Fish Trailer systems previously purchased from Northwest Marine Technology, Inc, for coded wire tagging and fin clipping of juvenile salmonids and several species of trout as part of the coordinated mass-marking program in the Great Lakes Region. Procurement includes unique patented Coded Wire Tags, and equipment used for fish crowding, identification, counting, measuring, and sorting as part of the Fish Tagging Trailer system. Equipment includes Mark IV Cutters, Tool Kits, Needles, Needle Carriers, and Tag Injectors, Mark IV Drive Rollers, switches, and upgrades, Wand and "V" detectors, Water Jet Gate Solenoids and various water pumps. The projected value of this IDIQ contract for the base year is $1.3M. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 112511, Finfish - Fish Hatcheries, with a business size standard of $0.75M. This notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses is solely within the discretion of the Government.
