IDIQ Rubber Removal & Airfield Painting
Added: Feb 03, 2011 5:29 pm The 47th Contracting Squadron at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas intends to procure an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for runway rubber removal and airfield markings/striping. The performance areas are the Laughlin AFB and Spofford Auxiliary Airfields. Work will consist of, but not limited to, the following principal items: removing excess rubber from runways, removing old airfield markings/striping, and repainting airfield markings/striping from runways, taxiways and aprons, and application of airfield paints and reflective media. The proposed duration of the contract is for a period of one year plus two, two-year option periods. The anticipated maximum amount is estimated at up to $4 million for the life of the contract. The minimum guaranteed amount of the proposed contract is $5,000.00 for the life of the contract. This proposed acquisition is solicited as a small business set-aside. The magnitude of this requirement is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 and the size standard is $33.5M. This proposed negotiated procurement will be accomplished using the Best Value Source Selection Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures. Evaluation criteria for proposal evaluation will be accomplished utilizing past performance and price factors, with past performance being significantly more important than price. The solicitation package will be issued in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be available for downloading from the Internet on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Website at address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 21 MAR 2011. No hard copies will be provided. The closing date is tentatively scheduled for on or about 21 APR 2011. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract and must be compliant with the VETS 100 reporting requirement. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. CCR can be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or tough the Internet address: www.ccr.gov . Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE).
