About this award
This is a firm-fixed-price delivery order awarded by the Department of the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) to Stanley-Uc-Cardno JV, a joint venture doing business as Stanley Consultants, Inc., a for-profit organization. The $197,403.52 contract provides expert investigation, analysis, and recommendations to prepare a User Requirement Document (URD) that will be used by AFSOC to justify funding for future facility acquisitions within the AFSOC Military Construction (MILCON) program. The contract scope involves validating the project scope, site, and costs for converting an existing two-bay aircraft corrosion control hangar into a combined operations squadron, maintenance, and aircraft hangar facility to support an AFSOC special operations squadron. The contract does not utilize any small business set-asides.
Description
Provide expert investigation, analysis, recommendations to prepare the user requirement document. Provide results of project scope, site and cost validation to include a comparison of the results to the initial government basis. URD results are then used to prepare draft project programming documentation. Prepare, print and bind URD that will be used by air force special operations command to justify funding for future facility acquisitions within the afsoc milcon program. This special operations squadron will be located in an existing hangar that will be converted into a combined operations squadron/maintenance/building/aircraft hangar. The existing facility is an old two BAY aircraft corrosion control hangar with some existing office space but is not configured for the future operations mission. A remediated and reconfigured facility is necessary to meet mission obligations.
