The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has awarded a $817,567 firm-fixed-price delivery order contract to the University of Wisconsin System to provide retinal image evaluation and associated services for the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). The contract, which has a period of performance through February 2026, will support the detection of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and other eye conditions. The University of Wisconsin System, operating through its University of Wisconsin - Madison division and Research and Sponsored Programs, will be the prime contractor for this award. No set-aside designation was used.
