This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912K6-19-Q-0008 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The results of this requirement will be a Firm-Fixed priced (FFP) contract issued in accordance with FAR 13.5 procedures. The right to make no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 337214 "Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing" and "Modular furniture systems (except wood frame), office-type, manufacturing" with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This requirement is a Total Set Aside for Small Business and only qualified offerors may submit quotes. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect tough Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis as a commercial item Firm-Fixed Price contract under procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13. Offer must be valid for 90 days. Also, per FAR 19.102(f), Any concern submitting a bid or offer in its own name, other than on a construction or service contract, that proposes to furnish an end product it did not manufacture (a "non-manufacturer"), is a small business if it has no more than 500 employees. This is a Request for Information (RFI) Sources Sought for furniture for the Maryland Air National Guard (MDANG) Purpose: The purpose is to conduct market research to determine the market capability and solutions as well as the availability and adequacy of business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of award. Submission of a capability statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offering, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry practices. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any Small Business Set-aside opportunities exist. All Small Business Set-aside categories will be considered. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Any information submitted is at the company's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided is voluntary. Requirement: This requirement is a commodity buy with installation contract to provide free standing and modular furniture on caster wheels with height adjustable (powered) desks with writable surfaces for newly constructed 27,000 sf building. All desks must include vertical and horizontal wired management.
