This is a presolicitation notice for the Moose Mitigation project at Fort Greely, Alaska. The U.S. Army has a requirement to provide moose mitigation measures on the Missile Defense Complex. A new guard booth and gate shall be installed on Robin Road to prevent moose from entering the fenced-in areas. The contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. The disclosure of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 IAW FAR 36.204(d). All work is to be done at Fort Greely, Alaska. The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract for this project. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses. This posting is a presolicitation to inform potential vendors and is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. This posting is not an Invitation for Bids or a Request for Proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this presolicitation. All costs associated with responding to this presolicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this presolicitation does not preclude participation in any future Invitation for Bid, if one is issued, in relation to the current presolicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the FedBizOpps website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. ***THE ENTIRETY OF THIS PROJECT IS TO BE COMPLETED IN INTERIOR ALASKA*** This is a solicitation for the Moose Mitigation Project at Fort Greely, Alaska. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. A site visit will be conducted on 31 August 2018 at 9:00 AM Alaska Time at BLDG 603, Conference Room, Fort Greely, Alaska. Failure to attend the site visit listed in FAR Clause 52.236-27 in order identify obvious site conditions does not constitute a valid claim for differing or unforeseen site conditions. Any questions must be submitted by e-mail to the point of contacts (POCs) identified below no later than 6 September 2018 by 10:00 AM Alaska Time. All questions will be responded to tough FedBizOpps.gov (FBO) only. The period of performance for this project is 180 calendar days after the receiving a notice to proceed (NTP). NTP will be issued 10 days after the date the contract is awarded. The disclosure of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 IAW FAR 36.204(d).
