Added: Aug 27, 2009 9:43 am Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated (COCO) Fuel Storage Facilities and Service is required to receive, store, protect and ship two grades of US Government-owned petroleum product, F76 (marine diesel) and JP5 (aviation turbine fuel), from a location in the Port of Fujairah, UAE for the period November 1, 2010 through October 31, 2015. Terminal must have the ability to receive and ship by fully loaded Ocean Tankers. AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Port of Fujairah, UAE with port facilities connected to existing commercial petroleum storage facilities. GRADE OF PRODUCT: F76 (marine diesel) and JP5 (aviation turbine fuel). STORAGE REQUIREMENT: A maximum of 600,000 barrel capacity (shell capacity), 300,000 barrels F76 and 475,650 barrels JP5, of storage is required with a minimum of two (2) tanks interconnected and isolated from other facilities and product handled within the tank farm is desired. ESTIMATED THROUGHPUT: Estimated throughput for this requirement is approximately 5,000,000 barrels per calendar year excluding initial fill and final shipment. This procurement will be unrestricted. The solicitation will be published electronically on both the Fed Biz Opps website and the DESC-FP solicitation download website. http://www.desc.dla.mil. Solicitation will not be posted to either website until approximately the end of October 2010. Questions should be emailed to the email addresses within this announcement.
