The Department of Homeland Security U.S. Coast Guard awarded a Firm Fixed Price definitive contract to Rolls-Royce Marine North America Inc., doing business as Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, a foreign-owned manufacturer of marine propulsion systems and specialized maritime components. The $424,666.85 contract provides various propulsion parts and kits for use on multiple Coast Guard Cutter vessels. The parts include seals, rings, bolts, packings, O-rings, shims, anodes, and other components made by Rolls-Royce as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This contract does not have any set-aside designation. Rolls-Royce is an experienced supplier of gas turbine engines, controllable pitch propellers, and other critical systems to the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command, holding major indefinite delivery contracts valued at tens of millions of dollars.
