SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, 6162 S. Willow Drive, Suite 300, Greenwood Village CO 80111 intends to solicit sources to enter into a firm-fixed price contracts to provide boiler safety device testing services for the Grand Junction VA Medical Center, 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. The Contractor shall provide boiler safety testing services, including testing and calibrating boiler safeties, with the intent of ensuring safe boiler operation. The solicitation package will be available for download on or about November 28, 2018 and proposals shall be 13 days after the issuance of the solicitation, and no later than 3:30 p.m. mountain time. The applicable NAICS code is 811310 with a small business size standard of $7.5 Million. This solicitation will be full and open competition. Page 1 of 1 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement for boiler safety device testing, calibration and tuning services for the Grand Junction VA Medical Center, located at 2121 North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a solicitation. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The contractor shall test all safety devices as directed in VHA Directive 1810 and calibrate as needed on all tee (3) boilers. Contractor shall calibrate all safety devices and tune all boilers on both natural gas and fuel oil.
