About this award

The Department of the Treasury's Internal Revenue Service (IRS) awarded a firm-fixed-price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) call to AT&T Technical Services Company, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T Inc., to upgrade the existing Intelligent Contact Management (ICM), Customer Voice Portal (CVP), Unified Communications Manager (UCM), and Unity Connection (UCX) platforms supporting the IRS Contact Center Environment (CCE). The $700,184.78 contract requires AT&T to procure 29 new servers, which will be shipped to a central site for barcoding before being delivered to the IRS facility in Chamblee, Georgia. The IRS will be responsible for installing and configuring the Cisco software and third-party Microsoft licenses. This contract is not associated with any set-aside program. As a major telecommunications provider, AT&T has previously supported other federal agencies, including the Defense Information Systems Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, through subcontracts and prime contracts for telecommunications services and equipment.

Description

The IRS CCE (contact center environment) consists of several cisco applications that work together to process and deliver calls to call center agents across the enterprise. To maintain contractor support for these major applications, the IRS seeks to upgrade the existing intelligent contact management (ICM), customer voice portal (CVP), unified communications manager (UCM), and unity connection (UCX) platforms that at & t supports. As part of the application upgrades, the ICM and CVP components will also require operating system upgrades from windows 2008 server to windows 2012 server. At & t will procure 29 new servers per the specified requirements (22 cisco BE7H-M5-K9 and 7 HP DL360 G10S). These servers will be shipped to a central site (concert) to apply the barcode. When completed, the servers will then be shipped to the IRS facility at 2385 chamblee tucker road, chamblee, GA 30341. At & t will provide an updated asset inventory list. Installation or configuration of software is outside the scope of this proposal. At & t assumes that the IRS will provide and install the cisco software and 3RD party licenses for microsoft windows and SQL. Estimated time for delivery to the IRS facility is approximately 55 days.
