The Housing Department of the Seminole Tribe of Florida is requesting bids for indoor air quality (IAQ) repair services at the Hollywood Reservation (6338 N 40th Street, Hollywood, FL 33024) under ITB-LD 170-2026, with bids due October 22, 2026 at 5:00 PM and a mandatory pre-bid conference on October 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The Tribe extends a preference to Seminole Tribal Member-owned and STOFI-owned certified businesses, which may bid up to 4% above the lowest non-tribal member bid for construction projects not exceeding $200,000. Bidders must hold a current certified general contractor, certified building contractor, or certified residential contractor license from the State of Florida or applicable county, and must demonstrate a minimum of three years of experience in similar services. Drywall specifications require 5/8-inch moisture-resistant purple-board with waterproof primer in moisture-prone areas; insulation requires minimum R-13 in walls and minimum R-35 in ceilings. Bidders must carry commercial general liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence, automobile liability insurance of $1 million per accident, and workers' compensation insurance as required by law, with the Tribe named as an additional insured. Work must commence within fourteen calendar days of purchase order issuance and be completed within fourteen calendar days unless otherwise directed. Prices must remain fixed and firm for 180 calendar days from the bid due date. Questions are due October 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
