The USAID Paraguay office seeks concept notes from Paraguayan organizations through an addendum to its Locally Led Development Annual Program Statement. Applicants should propose concepts that strengthen local capacity development through technical assistance, training, and support for existing networks. Concept notes are due February 16, 2024 and will be evaluated based on locally-led development, sustainability, demand-driven capacity strengthening, and multi-stakeholder engagement. Subject to availability of funds, USAID/Paraguay may award up to $2 million per award over five years to support locally led solutions that leverage local resources.
Awards will be granted through cooperative agreements or grants assigned under the USAID Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas program. Projects are expected to be performed in Paraguay to strengthen the ability of local organizations and networks to collaboratively address development challenges through capacity building support tailored to local needs and priorities.
