About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command Armament Center, intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote to Aptim Federal Services LLC for routine maintenance, calibration, repair and software updates on energetic and industrial plant equipment that supports the Explosive Waste Incinerator operations at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. This effort is being conducted in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. Questions must be submitted in writing by December 31, 2019 to the points of contact provided.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The applicable NAICS is 811219 for other commercial and industrial machinery and equipment rental and leasing with a small business size standard of $20.5 million. Aptim Federal Services, LLC, formerly known as Chicago Bridge and Ironworks Federal Services and Shaw Environmental, designed, built and installed the equipment and is the only known source that can meet requirements. The resultant contract will have a period of performance of 12 months.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center, intends to issue a sole source Request for Quote (RFQ) to Aptim Federal Services LLC (APTIM), 1725 Duke Street, Suite 400, Alexandria, VA 22314 for routine maintenance, calibration, repair and software updates on energetic and industrial plant equipment that supports the Explosive Waste Incinerator (EWI) operations at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
This sole source RFQ is in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41. U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.5. Aptim Federal Services, LLC (APTIM), formerly Chicago Bridge and Ironworks (CB&I) Federal Services, LLC and formerly Shaw Environmental, designed, built and installed the equipment in the EWI facility and is the only known source with the knowledge and expertise who can meet the Government requirement.
The applicable NAICS for this effort is 811219 and the small business size standard is $20,500,000.00. The resultant contract period of performance shall be 12 months.
