This solicitation will be for a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. FAR 52.219-4 Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns will be included in the RFQ.
The RFQ will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 16 December 2015, to close 12 days after the RFQ release date on or about the 28 December 2015. Estimated award date is 31 January 2016.
Delivery requirements shall be F.O.B. Destination to China Lake, CA.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response no later than 6 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. Written responses shall be submitted by email to the Contract Specialist, Christopher Pellecer, at christopher.pellecer@navy.mil, and to Lea Ann Davis, leaann.davis@navy.mil,via a Microsoft Word document or Adobe Acrobat PDF file.
