About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak in Alaska requires services for the sampling and analysis of all regulated waste delivered to the Transfer Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF). The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, supplies, administrative, technical and managerial expertise for the collection and shipment of samples, analytical review, and communication with Base Kodiak personnel. The contract will last for 365 days from the date of award.

List of services to be provided by the contractor:

  1. Sampling and analysis of all regulated waste delivered to the TSDF.
  2. Provision of a Project Manager as a point of contact to Base Kodiak personnel.
  3. Provision of standard turnaround times of not less than 7 to 10 working days.
  4. Provision of rush turnaround times not greater than 3 to 5 working days.
  5. Utilization of a laboratory certified by state and federal agencies for analytical testing of hazardous materials and hazardous waste products.
  6. Provision of a copy of the laboratory’s certification to Base Kodiak Environmental.
  7. Provision of re-sampling efforts for samples that exceed holding times.
  8. Provision of sampling and analytical results for the requirement parameters in oil, water, solid, or open matrix.
  9. Provision of other analytical testing as required by Base Kodiak.
  10. Provision of reports, documents and electronic copies within 30 days of the analytical testing.

USCG Base Kodiak Waste Sampling and Analysis of Regulated Waste

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, administrative, technical, and managerial expertise and efforts necessary to accomplish the proper collection/shipment of requested samples and analytical review. Sampling and analysis must be performed in compliance with EPA requirements on a "recurring and as needed basis" in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS)
