About this opportunity
This Request for Information is seeking information from potential offerors to assess requirements for providing 300 metallic armor kits for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle system, with an option for 300 additional kits. Responses are due no later than March 8, 2021 and shall be submitted via email to Matthew Kainz of the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command. Offerors must demonstrate the ability to provide specification documentation and a purchasing or rental agreement for a 2,000-pound plate forming press, with the required material size of 140 inches long and 1.2 inches thick of MIL-DTL-12560 class 4A steel. The evaluation criteria will assess the offeror's ability to meet these technical requirements.
There is no set-aside designation specified. The contract would be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis by the Department of the Army Materiel Command for the initial order of 300 Under Belly Interim Solution kits, with options for up to 300 additional kits to be exercised incrementally. Respondents are asked to provide input on the included Sections L and M, which outline proposal submission instructions and requirements, as well as the evaluation process and basis for contract award.

Description of Intent:
The U.S. Army, PM, Mounted Armored Vehicles (MAV) is conducting a Request for Information to assess the market on providing specific requirements in Section L&M.
Please reference the attachment to this RFI for Sections L&M.
Instructions for responding to this request:
Responses shall be submitted to the POC of this action, Matthew Kainz via an email response with the subject heading as “Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Under-Belly Interim Solution” to matthew.j.kainz.civ@mail.mil. Responses shall be submitted no later than 08 March 2021.
Questions:
- Will offerors be able to provide the manufacturers specification sheet and a purchasing/rental agreement IAW sections L.5.7, L.5.7.1 and M.1.2 for the 2,000 Ton Press?
- If not, what document would you be able to provide to prove your access to a 2,000 Ton Press?
- If not, what document would you be able to provide to prove your access to a 2,000 Ton Press?
