About this file
This document contains a Request for Information (RFI) from the U.S. Army regarding the Under Belly Interim Solution (UBIS) for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle system. The RFI provides details on the required 2,000 ton plate forming press, including material size of 140 inches long and 1.2 inches thick of MIL-DTL-12560 class 4A. Responses to the RFI are due by March 8, 2021 and should be submitted to Matthew Kainz via email. The RFI also seeks information on offerors' ability to provide manufacturers' specification sheets and purchasing/rental agreements for the press. This will result in a firm-fixed-price contract awarded by the Department of the Army Materiel Command TACOM Life Cycle Management Command for 300 UBIS kits with an option for 300 additional kits to be exercised incrementally.
