The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in support of the Division of Intramural Research (DIR) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition a base year renewal with 3 option years Total Care Preventive Maintenance Plan contract with Getinge, USA, Inc, 1777 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY  14623.The maintenance contract will cover:Description of equipment: Sterilization, Swedi (Qty-4) autoclave equipment with Model# - GE2609-P2200 and the following serial #s:


∙ Serial# 5101191-010-01


∙ Serial# 5101191-020-01


∙ Serial# 5100070-010-01


∙ Serial# 5101191-030-01 


All responsible sources who are certified by Getinge, USA as authorized third party repair vendors may submit a proposal showing their capabilities and past performance repairing this type of equipment.  The vendors shall provide certification from original equipment manufacturer that they are authorized to perform these services and have access to OEM parts and supplies.  The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219, which has a size standard of $20.5 in millions of dollars.  The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition.  The order is for base plus option year renewals.
