About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps intends to procure tactical/medical simulator manikins from a name brand source. The manikins must be realistic replicas of the human anatomy that can breathe and bleed. They will be used for training service members to practice field medical and first responder techniques. The manikins must withstand up to 6,000 pounds of pressure to support vehicle rollover and aircraft training scenarios. Comments on comparable products are due by July 30, 2020 in response to the specifications provided, which include interchangeable extremities, onboard compressors, pulse points, bleeding capabilities, airway support, and rechargeable batteries.
There is no set-aside designation. The manikins must weigh between 150-170 pounds, support up to 16GB of customizable audio files, and provide onboard power via batteries that charge via 100-240V outlets. The Marine Corps intends to pursue a name brand source but is accepting information on comparable products to consider for this requirement.
