PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE  

Solicitation NO. VA242-17-Q-0419 

The reason for this amendment is to correct VA242-17-Q-0419 description.

The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the Symbia CT Service maintenance for the Veterans Administration, James J. Peters VA Medical Center (VAMC).

Authority: Network Contracting Office (NCO2) is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-solicitation Notices.

Description:

Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, software updates, parts, etc.,

for complete On-Site Maintenance Service and technical support as specified below in accordance

with the terms, conditions and schedule of this agreement. This will include sources for the Biograph

mCT 64 (Biograph mCT Annual replacement kit), which will be replaced on an annual basis.



EQUIPMENT: Equipment to be serviced/maintained includes all Siemens Nuclear Medicine Department equipment and their components, including but not limited to all servers, workstations, peripherals:

Solicitation NO. VA242-17-Q-0419 

Purpose: The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the Symbia CT Service maintenance for the Veterans Administration, James J. Peters VA Medical Center (VAMC).

Authority: Network Contracting Office (NCO2) is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-solicitation Notices.

Description: The James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx, NY, has a requirement for 24-hour Wheelchair Van/Ambulette service to transport eligible beneficiaries of the medical center for medical services. Services shall be provided 24 hours, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, including weekends and holidays, for eligible Veteran beneficiaries of the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY and its three (3) Community-Based Clinics (CBOCs) located in Yonkers, Queens and White Plains respectively. We have a patient population of radiation therapy, dialysis, mentally ill, spinal cord and homeless who will require frequent transport. The contractor will be servicing the Business Office Veterans Transportation Program and Beneficiary Travel.
