Proposals are expected to be due approximately 10 days after the solicitation's release, indicating a relatively compressed response timeline.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations, meaning all responsible sources may submit proposals without restrictions based on business size or type. The procurement falls under Product Service Code DA10, which relates to Information Technology and Telecom business application development software as a service. No specific incumbent contractor or precise budget range is mentioned in the current notice. The contract appears designed to provide the USGS with a robust, comprehensive oil and gas database solution that supports their information technology and research needs.
