About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy's Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure a one-time purchase of the AIAA Meeting Papers from 1963-2023 on a sole source basis from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). This is a commercial items acquisition under NAICS code 519210 and will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price contract. The key objective is for the Nimitz Library at the U.S. Naval Academy to obtain these proprietary research papers, which must be vendor-indexed at the article level to be compatible with the library's existing systems. Responses are due by July 23, 2024, and the required delivery date is August 1, 2024.

This procurement is not set-aside for any particular business size. AIAA is the sole source provider, as they own the copyright to the AIAA Meeting Papers. The Small Business Size Standard is $21M. The place of performance is the Nimitz Library at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. The solicitation, N0018924Q0396, will be available for download on or about July 17, 2024 on the beta.SAM.gov website.
