About this opportunity

The Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration is seeking to procure a single-channel ground-penetrating radar (GPR) data acquisition system, including a SIR 4000 single-channel controller, batteries, charger, sunshade, and transit case. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quotation within 10 days of the posted date, which the agency will consider. The solicitation requires compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and invoicing through the DOT Delphi eInvoicing system.

This is a sole source procurement, as the agency has justified that the GSSI SIR 4000 controller is the only equipment capable of meeting their needs and requirements. The estimated cost of the procurement is $17,500. The place of performance is within the United States. The solicitation is not a small business set-aside, but all responsible sources may submit a quotation for consideration.
