The objective of this solicitation and any resulting contract is for the development installation, and certification of an integrated flight deck and avionics system on four (4) to fifteen (15) SD3-60 Sherpa aircraft in accordance with the requirements of this contract. The contractor shall develop a fully FAA Certified avionics suite meeting the requirements identified in this solicitation/contract.
The Contractor will be required to perform all scheduled maintenance on the aircraft while in their possession. The Contractor will be responsible for all FAA flight test and company test flight requirements for the completion of the STC. The Contractor will be required to perform unscheduled maintenance in accordance with the requirements of this contract.
The Offeror shall be the holder of an FAA 145 Repair Station Certificate, ISO 901 Certificate, and Organizational Designated Authorization (ODA) for Supplemental Type Certificates (STC0.
The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for SD3-60 Sherpa Avionics Upgrades and maintenance support consisting of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. The Government will guarantee avionics upgrades to four (4) aircraft and the remainder of the orders will be issued as the need becomes known. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance will be performed via Task Orders to the contract based on the rates proposed and accepted. The Contract will be in place for one year with the unilateral right of the Government to renew the contract for an additional four more one-year Option Periods.
Questions shall be submitted prior to Close of Business (COB) March 20, 2015. Questions must be submitted in writing to michaelmcfarlane@fs.fed.us.
This requirement is not set aside for small business.
