Added: Feb 22, 2016 5:49 pm The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. The purpose of this acquisition is remove current steam generators. This project also includes installing new hot water heat exchangers, heating pumps, domestic water heaters, and new or portions of a new DDC control system. Finally, new boilers, revisions to boilers, replacement of some reheat VAV boxes, reheat coils, and miscellaneous mechanical revisions will be included in this project. The location of the project will take place at Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana. Work consists of the contractor providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to conduct all repairs or maintenance requirements throughout, Malmstrom AFB, MT, in accordance with the project specifications, drawings and blueprints. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 8 Mar 2016. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 8 Apr 2016. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award of the solicitation. This acquisition is open to small business in accordance with the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Request for Proposal will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). (See Internet Site: http://www.sam.gov/sam/). All responsible sources must submit an offer good through 30 September 2016, which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00
