Kraemer Blvd, Brea, CA, 92822-8000 for one PA 800 Plus Pharmaceutical Analysis System. POC - Terry Knight, Purchasing Agent: Telephone Number 301-402-2282, and Fax 301-480-8720. This will be funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and is subject to reporting requirements of the Act.

Added: Aug 11, 2010 1:05 pm This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation Request for Quotes for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format of FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Part 13.5 as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. Submit offers on NIAID-RFQ-10065. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC2005-44, dated July 8, 2010. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516, which has a size standard of 500. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure 1 pharmaceutical analysis system to increase productivity of researchers in the laboratory for the advancement of vaccine products and testing for potential clinical products. The system is to provide automated, high resolution, and quantitative analysis of therapeutic proteins. Included in its application menu are SDS-gel analysis, cIEF, and carbohydrate profiling. The system is to include modular UV, photodiode array, and LIF detectors, 200nm, 214nm, 254nm, and 280nm filters are provided for UV detection. The UV and photodiode array detection wavelength range is 190-600nm. A 488nm solid state laser module is supplied for use with applications requiring laser induced fluorescence detection such as carbohydrate profiling. The system controller is to be coupled to a 22 inch monitor providing extended workspace. The software is to allow for easy system set-up and use. Sampling formats include 1.8ml universal vials, micro-vials, 96-well plates. The pharmaceutical analysis system is to provide: high resolution separation module, high sensitivity modular detection system including, UV, photodiode array, and LIF 488nm Solid State laser module, sample storage temperature control, capillary temperature control, high speed system controller with integrated data analysis capability, pre-loaded, validated turn-key methods and system application guide, starter kit including necessary hardware supplies for system operation. Offers will be evaluated and the award will be determined on a best value basis. The following factors will be evaluated: 1) technical acceptability for meeting the required specifications, 2) price, 3) warranty and 4) delivery. Warranty information to include period and coverage, shall be stated. Inside delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Delivery will be made to Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878. The FOB point shall be Destination. This will be a firm-fixed price contract.
