Paragraph 1:
The Department of Agriculture Forest Service R6-Pacific Northwest Region is seeking quotes to replace the existing fire alarm system at the USFS Middle Fork Ranger Station in Westfir, Oregon. The scope of work includes replacing the fire alarm control panel, detection and control devices, power supplies, and notification devices, while retaining the existing wiring. All work must be performed by an Oregon licensed LEA electrician and NICET level II technician. The award will be made to the responsible quoter whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, considering price and past experience/performance. Quotes are due by 10:00 AM Pacific Time on September 12, 2024 and should be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer, Eric Oldenkamp.

This solicitation is set aside for total small business. The period of performance is from September 26, 2024 to November 25, 2024. Quoters must ensure registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to any award. The NAICS code for this opportunity is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, and the PSC code is N063 - Installation Of Equipment- Alarm, Signal, And Security Detection Systems.

Scope of Contract - The work of this Contract includes all labor and materials required to replace the existing fire alarm system at the USFS Middle Fork Ranger Station. The system shall be replaced in-kind. This includes control panel, detection and control devices (smoke detectors, beam detectors, heat detectors, monitor modules, relay modules), power supplies sufficient to power notification appliances, and notification devices. The existing wiring is to remain.
All work must be completed by an Oregon licensed LEA electrician and National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) level II technician.
The project is located at the Middle Fork Ranger Station; 46375 OR-58, Westfir, OR 97492.
Period of Performance - from 9/26/2024 to 11/25/2024.
Quoters must ensure registration in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov prior to any award.
