About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center seeks quotations for three centrifugal pump units (NSN 4320-01-676-9378, Aqua-Chem Part Number 905-09607-000), with quotations due July 17, 2026 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. This is a sole-source simplified acquisition under FAR 13 with no full and open competition.

Place of performance is the United States, with delivery F.O.B. destination to the Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21226, required no later than August 30, 2026. The NAICS code is 333996, Fluid Power Pump and Motor Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 750 employees. Estimated unit price is $16,043.96 per pump, for a total procurement value of $48,132.00.

The procurement addresses a critical logistics need: these pump units supply seawater to Reverse Osmosis desalination plants aboard the Coast Guard's 210- and 270-foot WMEC vessel fleet. Loss of adequate stock would result in loss of fresh water production capability. Configuration management compliance under Commandant's Instruction 4130.6A requires identical pump units (APL 010EXU30A1 RO Seawater Feed Pump with cyclone filter assembly) already installed on the fleet to ensure effective logistics support and interchangeability. Aqua-Chem Inc is the only known provider meeting the form, fit, and function requirements for the vessels' piping, electrical power, mounting bracket, and compartment space constraints, and its proprietary manufacturing drawings and specifications cannot be released for competitive purposes.

All quotations must be submitted via email to Nina.m.crosby@uscg.mil. Offerors must possess valid DUNS numbers, be registered in SAM.gov, and provide their Tax Information Number.
