About this opportunity
The Federal Contract Opportunity is for professional moving services in Raleigh, North Carolina. The contract will be a time and materials contract with one base year and one option year, starting from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024, and the option year from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) requires moving services to include labor and materials to pack, remove office furniture, some limited large tv monitors, conference tables, and associated equipment – contractor to provide packing and shipping materials, and arrange for the orderly relocation of materials between buildings, and supply temporary storage facilities as needed.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and the acquisition procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13 are being utilized. The resulting contract will be a time and materials contract with one base year and one option year.
The Government anticipates issuing a time and materials contract with a base and one option year, the later subject to the availability of funds. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote responds to the terms of the RFQ and is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer to the government.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-4 effective June 2, 2023.
This is a 100 % set aside total small business. The applicable NAICS code is 484210, which has a size standard of 34 million. For more information on size standards visit http://www.sba.gov/size.
