Requirement:

The Government requires the Cryocath Ablation System which includes the Cryocath Ablation device and accessories for the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center Cardiology Catheterization Laboratory. The Cyrocath Ablation device powers the Arctic Front AdvanceTM Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter and the Freezer® MAX Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter. The console houses the electrical and mechanical components and software needed to perform cry ablation procedures. It controls the delivery, recovery, and disposal of cry ablation refrigerant safely and efficiently. Also, it is important and essential piece of equipment that will assist the physicians in performing delicate cardiac ablations of the heart safely.

TECHINCAL REQUIREMENTS (for the Cryocath Ablation Device, QTY 1):
• Height (min & max): 126cm - 157 cm
• Depth: 59 cm
• Width: 55cm
• Weight: 131 kg (without nitrous oxide tank)
• Power input parameters: 110/120/230V

•QTY 2, ECG Cable
•QTY 1, White Scavenging Hose 6.0m / 20ft
•QTY 4, N2O Refrigerant Tank (full)
•QTY 1, North American Power Cord

The proposed source is Medtronic, Inc. 710 Medtronic Parkway Minneapolis, MN 55432-5603, United States

This procurement will not be competed because the aforementioned Cryocath Ablation System does not have an alternative or replacement therefore, it is currently the only system in the market that eliminates risk of permanent heart block that exists when performing certain intra-cardiac ablation procedures. Also, it is going to be used in conjunction with the Carto EP Lab System during the cardia ablations at the WPAFB Medical Center.

The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers.
