1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, in conjunction with FAR 13, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. Solicitation number M2000118Q0003 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97, effective 24 January 2017 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20180131, effective 28 December 2017; please see attached RFQ for all appropriate provisions and clauses.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561790 and the small business size standard is 7.5 Mil. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Small Businesses. Quotes received from concerns that are not a small business shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
2) General Requirement: This RFQ is being issued for (1) mold cleaning of 47 USMC barrack rooms to include to air scrubbing, H.E.P.A. vacuuming, carpet cleaning and chemical wipe to bring rooms to a condition 1 state, (3) mold cleaning of 35 USMC barrack rooms to include to air scrubbing, H.E.P.A. vacuuming, and chemical wipe to bring rooms to a condition 1 state (3) chemical wipe of 53 USMC barrack rooms to maintain condition 1 state of rooms. Barracks are located at Bldg MCA600 Camp Allen, Norfolk, Va 23551.
3) Contractors responding to this announcement must provide the information contained in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their quote. The contractor should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for any resulting awards (NO EXCEPTIONS). For information on registering with SAM, visit www.sam.gov. Contractors are also required to be registered in Wide-Area Work Flow (WAWF); contractors can self-register for WAWF at https://wawf.eb.mil.
4) Site Visit will be conducted on Thursday, 22 February 2018 at 10:00 am. If attendance is required, please contact Gunnery Sergeant Robert Richardson by email @ robert.b.richardson1@usmc.mil or by telephone at 757-445-4290.
