Correction to minimum required capabilities and specifications, Item 11. 

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 12305BB21S1563 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. The associated NAICS code is 333314.

Five Miniature line-scan hyperspectral cameras, brand name or equal to Headwall Photonics, P/N 1003A-20509 Nano Spectrometer, USB - Hyperspec imaging spectrometer, original holographic grating, Spectral Range VNIR: 400-1000nm, Software: Supplied SDK and P/N 1004A-21444 17mm, F/1.4, 400-1000nm, Compact Barrel, C-Mount, Minimum working distance 42mm with the following minimum required capabilities and specifications:
1. VNIR wavelength range: 400-1000 nm
2. Spatial bands >= 640
3. Spectral bands >= 270
4. Large aperture f/# <= 2.5
5. High spectral resolution FWHM <= 6 nm
6. Integrated 2nd order filter
7. Aberration-corrected concentric
8. Narrow entrance slit width <= 20 μm
9. High bit depth >= 12 bits
10. High frame rate >= 300 Hz
11. Small size - Correction to <= 6.5 cm x 5 cm x 3.8 cm (without lense) required to match existing.
12. Light weight < 0.5 kg (with lens)
13. Interface with LabVIEW and Python software
14. Able to be controlled by our existing custom software
15. USB port: 1 USB 3.0

Firm fixed price quotation must include the following:
a. Firm fixed price quotation for five each inclusive of all costs associated with shipment and delivery, FOB Destination, Beltsville, MD 20705.
b. Responses to each of the 15 minimum required capabilities and specifications numbered line items indicating and fully demonstrating quoted miniature line-scan hyperspectral camera meets or exceeds required minimum line item capability and specification.
c. Include descriptive literature that fully supports responses submitted under Item b.
d. Include completed Attachment 1, Representations and Certifications.

Respondents must have a current and active System for Award Management (SAM) registration.  Basis for any potential award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). "LPTA" means the expected outcome of the acquisition that, results from selection of the lowest price technically acceptable quotation that fully meets required capabilities and specifications and has satisfactory past performance.

Submit a firm fixed price quotation that includes all associated shipping costs FOB Destination.  Quotation must include all required information identified under items a, b, c, and d to be considered responsive and must be submitted by email to tim.smearman@usda.gov. Respondents are responsible for ensuring receipt prior to May 3, 2021, 3 p.m. EST
