The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Progressive Technology Federal Systems, Inc.; 11501 Huff Court; North Bethesda, MD 20895-1043 for 12 months renewal of software maintenance and support for Plexus Workflow FloWare Software. SSA requires the continued maintenance of Plexus software used to support the Integrated Image Based Data Capture System (IIBDCS) located at Wilkes-Barre Data Operations Center (WBDOC). FloWare products are used to move work through all processes/flows in a given workflow map that gets the work from the beginning of an overall process to the end. Application design products are used for writing the user interface applications, such as the Keyer program, used on all of the workloads. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source."


Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
