The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Philadelphia, PA site intends to procure Ship Service Diesel Generators (SSDGs) for the LSD-46, via Request for Proposal N64498-16-R-5058.


NSWCPD seeks to competitively award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single-Award, Definite Quantity type contract utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Best Value continuum source selection process as described in FAR 15.101-2. The Government intends to award one (1) contract to one (1) responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is determined most advantageous to the Government, cost and other factors considered. The solicitation will contain a one (1) year ordering period.


This procurement will be Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition.


 The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 335312; Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. 


 All offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. For further information and instructions please visit www.SAM.gov.


 THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. The RFP along with any amendments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website at http://fbo.gov on or around June 1, 2016 and will close 30 days thereafter. All interested parties may download the solicitation and any amendments through FEDBIZOPPS. No CDs or hard copies will be provided. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and technical proposals.
